I took my bags and got on the train
went to my seat and started to freak-out

People were dancing at the bar
as if it were the Cotton Club
Everybody to the rhythm of the wheels

I went to the bar to have a coffee
and a girl started talking to me
She told me that she was alone
and invited me to sit with her

I go with her to smoke a joint
and spend the minutes talking about
how she had lovers in all countries
then things get weird, I have to go!

With a strange family in my wagon
and strangers all over the train
A woman without a ticket
in the bathroom threatened me:
– Don'tell anyone I'm here!
Frightened I returned to my seat
I wish I was in my bed!
I don't want to die on the Midnight Train!
